Dewing Creek Planting Day - October

Barwon Water are undertaking our first nature-based carbon sequestration project to re-establish approximately 150 hectares of native vegetation. This project is part of a larger sequestration program that will help us achieve our net zero emissions target by 2030.

Join us on Friday 9 October to learn about the project and the Barwon River Catchment, while having the opportunity to plant some of the 86,000 plants.

Lunch will be provided. Toilets are on site. Please bring wet weather gear, gumboots, gardening gloves, water bottle and umbrellas.

Please note the site is only accessible via a bus service that will run from Geelong, with pick up points in Winchelsea, Birregurra and Barwon Downs. Private car access is to be pre-arranged.
