    Event description

This DIA — Design Days Brisbane event titled Student Crash Course: University to Employment is a DIA program during BAD Brisbane Art and Design and will offer tips and tricks for students preparing to enter the next phase of their design journey. Followed by a Student Portfolio Review, the DIA will present an interactive workshop showcasing examples of portfolio styles. Students are invited to ask questions, engage in conversation and exchange, and ultimately set themselves in the right direction to create their unique portfolio.

Our expert panel will cover essential topics such as the basic tips for formats and media, as well as the non-negotiables that should be included in all graduate folios. You'll also learn about the key differences that exist for different design disciplines, so you can tailor your folio to best showcase your skills and experience. Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your existing folio, this event is not to be missed!

This event is open not just for students, it is suitable for early/mid-career, or if you are in a career transition.
This will be an open discussion with food and drink provided.
