Diabetes NZ Nelson Youth: Amazing Race for Diabetes Action Month 2025
Event description
Get ready for an afternoon of fun, movement, and adventure! Join Diabetes NZ Nelson Youth for an "Amazing Race" around Tāhunanui Reserve!
Participants will be placed in teams to enjoy weaving your way through the Tāhunanui playground, beach and Te Pā Harakeke to complete a series of challenges, with an optional add on of train rides at the Modeler's railway* to end the day.
This family-friendly event is all about getting active together as part of our One Million Minutes of Movement for Diabetes Action Month 2025.

Your diabetes kits
A water bottle
An afternoon snack
This is a great chance to enjoy the outdoors, connect with others, and add your minutes of movement to our nationwide challenge.
