Diabetes NZ Nelson Youth: New & Recently Diagnosed Information Evening

An evening for parents of newly diagnosed children and teens living with type 1 diabetes.

Join Diabetes NZ Nelson Youth for a relaxed and welcoming evening especially for parents and caregivers of children and teenagers living with Type 1 diabetes who are newly diagnosed, recently diagnosed, or who haven’t yet connected with our community.

This event is supported by the Paediatric Nursing Team and is a great chance to:

• Hear from families who have connected with Diabetes NZ Nelson Youth and learn from their experiences

• Ask questions and explore how we can best support you and your family as you begin this journey

• Find out more about the social events, peer connections, and family support we offer

Whether your child’s diagnosis is fresh or you’re still finding your way, we’d love to meet you and help you feel supported.
