Spring Feast Dia de los Muertos

This Seasonal Feast, we're excited to be collaborating with Daniela Daza on a cultural celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Mexican Day of the Dead).

Come and enjoy cultural activities; traditional sweet breads and sugar skulls, flower crown workshop, and face painting. Learn about the history and significance of the celebration and enjoy a traditional Mexican feast by Siento Fuego.
Daniela recently moved to the north west coast from Mexico City and is passionate about sharing her culture with her new community in Tasmania. Alongside Big hART creative mentors, Daniela has been working with students at Wynyard High to share the unique traditions and the meaning behind them as well as the more colourful, decorative 
elements.
