Come and celebrate the launch of children's book 'Did you know?' and meet local Adelaide Author and Illustrator, Jessica Bennett.

Activities for kids!

(1) Create your own 'Did you know' stories with the author
Cost: FREE

Sit with the author to create your own 'Did you know' stories and draw them using pens, paper and your imagination.

(2) Ochre Art (maximum 30 children) - led by Kaurna artists
Cost: $6 per child (FREE if you have pre-ordered a book)

Led by Kaurna artists, learn about the traditional uses of ochre in Aboriginal culture. Children and parents crush the ochre and blend this powder with water forming a paste. The ochre paint is then used to create your final art piece and develop your own story using traditional Aboriginal symbols.

(3) Nature clay play (maximum 60 children) - led by Mary Pulford
Cost: $4 per child (FREE if you have pre-ordered a book)

Led by local artist Mary Pulford, children use clay and natural materials to create unique pieces of art to take home.

Yes! There will be a coffee van where you can purchase coffee.

Will there be access to toilets?
Yes, there will be toilets available.

Will there be food?
No, there will not be any food provided. The grounds are beautiful with open lawns next to Sturt Creek. A great spot for a family picnic if you want to bring some food.
