ABOUT LONG LISTEN
Hello, I am Louise King and I am the Artistic Director of Long Listen, a new punchy festival program of short music experiences. Think classics with a twist.  Â
On Friday 29 September to Monday 2 October 2023 I am launching Long Listen in my community at Eudlo Hall. Book tickets to experience a Long Listen teaser of short listening sessions featuring guest artists and conversations.
Long Listen broadens our arts ecology, by providing an inclusive audience experience. At its heart is the power of music.
Long Listen is an artist-driven, musician-led new annual boutique festival that presents the broad sweep of classical crossover artists in community places. Think a mashup of originals, world, folk and jazz artists, or singer-writers with string quartet.Â
Long Listen provides a space for audiences to explore, share and discover music and for our artists, a platform to experiment, make work, embedded in this community, for our community.Â
Help me realise Long Listen!  I am working towards a fundraising goal of $50k to deliver the first festival program in October 2024.  I need investors, donors and key partnerships.  Your ticket directly supports our guest artists, and helps kickstart this new boutique festival.Â
Thanks so much for your support! Please spread the word.Â
