Digital Art Workshop: Procreate for Beginners

Come and join us for an introductory session on the ins and outs of using Procreate! Discover the ease of digital drawing, using layers and special effects, to create stunning illustrations that are sure to delight and awe! Learn the basics of frame by frame animation using Procreate’s inbuilt features to create your own looped animation, suitable for gifs and other short projects. Finish the lesson by creating your own illustration to export and share at your leisure. This workshop will cover Procreate’s essential tools and features, brush basics, colours and palettes, sketching and drawing techniques, shading and colouring, special effects and animation.

Age Range: Suitable for young people ages 13 & Up

Requirements: 

Each child must bring their own devices with Procreate installed, and a pen to use on the
touchscreen to draw.
Pencils and paper (students are invited to bring their sketchbooks and supplies)
