Understanding Digital Health for Carers

Carers Australia, Carers Queensland and the Australian Digital Health Agency warmly invite you to a special session designed to help carers better understand how digital health systems can support them. This session is open to carers, carer service providers, and carer support organisations.

Join us to learn how digital health can be used safely and securely, how health information is protected, and how carers can manage access settings with confidence.

In this session, participants will explore:

The benefits of using digital health systems
What “better, faster access” means in practice
How to manage user and privacy settings

Digital health information may include:

Pathology or diagnostic imaging results
Immunisations
Medications
Discharge summaries
Electronic prescriptions

This session is ideal for carers who want to feel more informed, empowered, and confident navigating digital health tools.

We hope to see you there!

Afternoon tea will be served on arrival - please let us know any dietary requirements in the check-out section.

Disclaimer: Any anonymised information provided through this registration form may be shared with Carers Australia and the Agency for reporting and program purposes.
