Digital Detox Saturday – Unplug & Reconnect

We invite you to step away from screens and take a mindful break from the digital world. This event is all about slowing down, unwinding, and engaging in screen-free activities at your own pace. Bring a book, a journal, a craft project, or anything else you love – and enjoy a relaxed, distraction-free afternoon.

📍 Location: Botanic Gardens Adelaide, we will meet at the north terrace gate, next to the tram stop.

⏰ Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

What to Expect

💡 3:00 PM – Arrive & Settle Into our detox spot
Upon arrival at the meeting point, we’ll head to a cozy spot, settle in, and pop our phones into the "Phone Jail"—where they’ll take a well-deserved break! Then, it’s time to relax, unwind, and enjoy a screen-free afternoon.

📖 3:15 PM – Solo Unwind Time
Read, journal, draw, do puzzles, or engage in any creative or mindful activity you bring along. And don’t worry—we’ll have some colour pencils and books on hand if you need a little extra inspiration.

🃏 4:00 PM – Social Connection (Optional)
Meet new people and enjoy real conversations without the distraction of screens! Join others for board games, discussions, or casual chats. No pressure—connect as much or as little as you like. 😊

🌿 4:45 PM – Wind Down
Savour the last few moments of presence before diving back into the wild world of Wi-Fi!
