Event description

Mater and Cardihab in partnership with Smart Precinct NQ are working together with community to activate an innovation ecosystem. We aim to create opportunities from emerging digital healthcare by building a Centre of Excellence for Virtual Care based out of Townsville and North Queensland. Through our collaboration we hope to inspire a digital health innovation network that will support new ways of delivering healthcare, cultivate emerging ideas, and inspire regional innovators. We believe innovation can remain in regional settings and thrive.

Queensland Government’s Advance Queensland support for the Mater and Cardihab digital health pilot program - based out of Townsville -  has encouraged us to explore virtual services that deliver across Queensland and builds a thriving regional workforce.

To succeed in our ambition, we need forward-thinking contributors from all facets of the community: digital consumers, healthcare leaders, innovation champions, regional futurists and everything in between.

If you want to take a deep dive into how Townsville is leading the state in innovative digital health, we would love to host you at our first Digital Healthcare Showcase event on May 9 at Smart Precinct NQ.

During ticket selection please select if you will attend Session 1, Session 2 OR both Sessions 1 and 2.
