Event description

Join WxNW, your LTA's, Business Tasmania and the Digital Ready team at The Hive for an opportunity to learn and network with industry colleagues. Learn how small businesses can be supported through the Tasmanian Governments Business Tasmania Service. Kelly Brown, the Manager of the Business Tasmania service, will share how Business Tasmania help people to start, run and grow their business by offering personalised assistance, information and access to a range of services and programs from the Department of State Growth and other government agencies. The Business Tasmania team make it easier for the community to talk to government and access available support. From here, Digital Ready Coach, Kirsty Dryburgh from Social Bothy will deliver a workshop that has been tailored for tourism businesses new to social media or seeking a refresh on the basics. Learn why social media is essential, a proven strategy to reach all customers and potential customers on your buyer journey, how to define your ideal customer, and what content pillars are working for social media. This workshop will streamline your efforts, offering clarity and enabling you to have plenty of ideas for content and ensure that they align. Save time and feel confident when it comes to posting!

Light refreshments to be provided.
