About DSEW 3.0

The Digital Skills, Education, and Workforce Development (DSEW) program invests in initiatives that focus on improving introductory-level digital skills or providing access to advanced digital skills training for employment. The program’s workforce goal is to fund organizations that provide access to advanced digital skills training and employment opportunities using those new skills. TNECD encourages all organizations providing workforce development services to consider this opportunity to receive up to $1 million in grant funds.

There are two types of DSEW 3.0 programs that an applicant can apply for:
• Digital Skills: Digital Skills is defined as anything focusing on basic/foundational digital skills such as online safety, device usage, internet navigation, and others.
• Workforce Development: Any program focusing on intermediate/advanced digital skills and aims to provide employment.

Applications open May 1 and close June 18.
