Event description
Come to the museum and explore technologies from the past and the present. Try out old and new technologies for communicating over a distance, and go back to the future exploring how music and video have changed over the years. There will be opportunities for the older generation to explain technology of the past to the younger generation, and vice versa! We will also have activities and games to challenge you and demonstrate the ideas behind digital technology.
This is a joint project of the Computer Science and Software Engineering department at the University of Canterbury, and the Canterbury Museum.
