This half-day in-person free workshop is an opportunity for RMIT Digital Twins network to come together, share experiences in active and recent research collaborations, plan for the development of future collaboration. The workshop includes opportunities to:
- Listen to a showcase of recent and current RMIT Digital Twins research collaborations
- Help refine our capability statement and develop a strategy for future research collaboration with government and industry
- Network with other researchers and key industry supporters
Who should attend
The workshop is primarily aimed at RMIT researchers who work in the area of Digital Twins. Participation from interested industry and government attendees is actively encouraged, however. The RMIT Digital Twins researcher community welcomes input from its stakeholder and practitioner community in informing and shaping its research directions in this area.
Workshop agenda
- 9:30am: Welcome, introductions, and Acknowledgement of Country
- 9:45am: Research showcase
- Including current Digital Twins collaborations from researchers including Prof James Harland, A/Prof Rebecca Yang, A/Prof Chayn Sun, A/Prof Ben Cheng, Dr Mojtaba Mahmoodian,and A/Prof Mark Gregory
- Supported by industry keynotes from Kate Williams, FrontierSI, and Andrew Symons, Veris
- 11:15: Morning tea
- 11:45: Growing collaboration
- A workshop activity in co-designing high-impact potential research collaborations
- 12:45: Networking lunch (provided)
