Digital Video Production Foundations

*This workshop is for UQ Students in the School of Communication and Arts only.

Masks can be worn in MaPS Workshops.

You'll learn the basics of shot design, framing, camera handling & audio capture in this two-hour workshop.

To help the concepts to come to life, you will practice your skills using the school's Canon 80D cameras.

This session is ideal for students with upcoming video-based assignments, and a perfect partner to Adobe Premiere Pro Foundations. All equipment is provided.

**You must complete either this workshop OR the Photography workshop, if you wish to loan camera gear from Jactech.

Terms and Conditions:

*RESTRICTED LIST: If you sign up for this class but are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite at least 12 hours ahead of the event so someone else can take your place. Failure to cancel your ticket will result in blacklisting and will prevent you from signing up for future workshops for the remainder of the semester.

*LATE ARRIVAL CUT-OFF TIME: Please arrive ahead of time for the workshop start. You will be refused entry into the workshop if you arrive more than 10 minutes late. This is to ensure all workshop content can be successfully delivered.

*MINIMUM ATTENDEES: MaPS may cancel a workshop with four or less participants signed up. MaPS will provide a minimum of 12 hours’ notice if this occurs.
