Join Think+DO Tank for a free community garden workshop ~ Dilly Bags with Henrietta Baird ~ on the Wednesday 28th of August 3:30-5pm.
Henrietta Baird, a Kuku Yalanji woman, dancer and choreographer, and Adina Oosterwijk from the Botanic Gardens of Sydney Community Greening Program will introduce you to different species of native grasses and share their significance and stories. Learn to weave your own dilly bag to take home. Damper and tea will be served.  Â
The workshop will be conducted in simple English with Arabic and Assyrian translation support available. Translation support in other community languages available on request.Â
All ages, abilities, and languages are welcome. Please register for free via Humanitix.
This workshop is part of the Grow Well program Think+DO Tank Community House. The Grow Well community garden is accessible at all times for community, with extra support from Think+DO Tank staff every Wednesday afternoon 3:30-5pm.Â
