About your facilitator:

Gav Barbey is an internationally acclaimed interdisciplinary artist and somatic educator. Gav’s work is based within immersive and participatory creative play, he is a nature play educator, a somatic movement and meditation facilitator, international exhibiting artist, filmmaker and designer of theatre and film. Gav has a degree from NIDA and a year of a Masters in Integrative Studies. Gav is one of the curators of the participatory arts and cultural festival ‘Radical Fields’. Over the past 2 years Gav has created works at Hyphen Regional Gallery with 12,000 participants, ephemeral sculptural works with public in Penang and Kuala Lumpur and public works across NSW and Victoria inviting the public to imagine, create and play. Gav works within the corporate sector as a human centred designer and community liaison.

Gav is the creator of the Yes Project, a multi-disciplined collective currently working on a international art film 'Sound of Prayer' and refugee beautification project 'Painted City Forest'
