Event description

After a sold-out night in May, we’re heading back to Mumbaiwala for round two—and this time, we’re teaming up with our community impact partner, Māngere Budgeting Services, to make it even more meaningful.

Dine for Good is a movement:

For one night in July, Mumbaiwala transforms into an Everybody Eats pop-up restaurant in the name of fundraising to support our mahi across the motu. Expect bold flavours, big impact, and generous spirit. Mumbaiwala’s chefs will craft a vibrant three-course, street-style feast using rescued ingredients, inspired by Everybody Eats’ zero-waste philosophy. The meal will be served with aroha by our volunteers, making for an unforgettable night of flavour and purpose.

Your $40 ticket includes:

  • A stunning three-course meal prepared by Mumbaiwala’s chefs

  • A gifted meal for someone in need. For every ticket you buy, we donate an Everybody Eats family dining voucher to our community partner, Māngere Budgeting Services—giving a whānau doing it tough the chance to enjoy a free, nourishing meal together.

  • A seat at the table. Whether you come with friends, whānau, or choose to sit at a shared table and meet new people, this is a night to connect, enjoy, and be part of something bigger.

Why your ticket matters:

When you buy a ticket, you’re not just treating yourself—you’re making a real difference.

Each $40 ticket directly funds a family dining voucher which entitles the bearer to a three-course meal at one of our Everybody Eats restaurants. The voucher is gifted to a whānau doing it tough—because in today’s economic climate, the chance to sit down together and share a stunning three-course meal isn’t something everyone can take for granted.

What to Expect from the Night:

  • A unique Everybody Eats dining experience at Mumbaiwala

  • The option to enjoy and purchase wine or beer with your meal

  • Dine privately with whānau and friends, or sit at one of our social tables and make some new ones

This isn’t just dinner—it’s community, connection, and doing good with every bite.
