Dinner for 6 improv workshop with Jennifer Jordan @ Leeds Improv Co-Lab
Improv Co-Lab presents: Dinner for 6, an improvised comedy and drama workshop led by Jennifer Jordan
This slow-paced, character-focused format workshop explores relationship dynamics between a group of six friends. This gives each player dedicated stage-time to play with each other, lets emotion and relationship lead, and paints a rich tapestry of what it means to be human.
The workshop will be taught by improviser, actor, director and songwriter Jennifer Jordan. Her past affiliations include: The Maydays, Vancouver Theatre Sports, Instant Theatre, Nursery Theatre, Boxed In and Somewhat Theatre. She’s currently teaching with City Academy in London.
Improv Co-Lab is an informal, drop-in event is for improvisers of comedy and drama; keen to get more regular practice by performing, and playing games and scenes. We host regular, open play sessions twice each month, as well as one-off workshops like this, with special guest teachers.
This is a special, day-long event and an opportunity to deepen your improvisation, learn new skills, have fun, and gain feedback from a highly experienced teacher and performer.
