Fundraiser Dinner with CMC Director Dr Vikram Mathews

Friends of Vellore Victoria & CMC Alumni welcome CMC Director Dr Vikram Mathews, who is visiting Australia as guest of the Australian Friends of Vellore. The dinner will allow Victorian Friends and CMC Alumni to meet Dr Mathews and to hear about CMCs recent successes, challenges, and future plans.

Dr Mathews flies in from Adelaide for a 3-day visit on 24 August. He will spend time with The Melbourne University Department of Medicine Dentistry & Health Sciences, which partners with CMC. While in Melbourne, Dr Mathews will also visit the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Dr Mathews has been Director of CMC Vellore since September 2022. He gained his MB BS, MD and DM at the CMC, followed by post-doctoral work at Washington University, St Louis, USA. He is Professor of Clinical Haematology at CMC and has been engaged in world-leading research and management of patients with leukemia for the past 20 years.
