    Event description

A night with HANDPICKED WINE's Chief Winemaker Peter Dillon

Join us at Strange Company for an evening with Handpicked's Chief Winemaker Peter Dillon showcasing Strange Company and Dillon's shared wine loves, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Head Chef Christophe Mannon-Bakaj will be preparing a 4 course dinner paired with 6 of Handpicked's premium Collection Chardonnay and Pinot Noir's each highlighting the terroir of their respective regions.

Whilst Handpicked are based in Morning Peninsula they are well known for showcasing the terroir of regions further afield. Their wines represent a mosaic of Australia's greatest growing regions and the varietals they cater for best. On the 9th of October we will be working our way through the Yarra Valley, Tamar Valley and, of course, Mornington Peninsula to see how different these regions can be. This will be a great showcase of terroir and one of Australia's finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers' work.

Having recently taken out a triple gong for Best of Region Chardonnay with their Yarra Valley, Mornington and Tasmania Chardonnay's under James Halliday's wine awards these wines will speak for themselves. Sit back and enjoy the company of the mastermind behind them.

Head Chef Christophe Mannon-Bakaj will be pairing the wines in a classic engagement of seafood and duck making this set to be a brilliantly decadent evening of dining.
