Join South Gippsland Conservation Society to hear from Jake Kotevski of The Dinosaur Dreaming team talk on the fossil evidence of theropod (meat-eating) dinosaurs from along the Bass Coast.

The Dinosaur Dreaming project has been excavating along the Bass Coast of Victoria since the early 1990s and because of constant wave and sand erosion, new bones are being exposed all the time.

Jake Kotevski's PhD research, focusing on Victorian fossil evidence, has significantly revised understanding of Cretaceous Australia's theropod (meat-eating) dinosaurs, identifying megaraptorids, carcharodontosaurs, the first in Australia!
