A celebration of all that the inner west music scene has to offer with weekly rotating artists. Canned heat is always local, live, loud & free.
This week we are celebrating the Sydney date of Dipodium's East Coast Tour, sponsored by Yulli's Brews and brought to us my New Brain Communications.
Dipodium brings together members of SOY, Fungas and The Med Heads bringing an entirely fresh perspective on groove-based art-rock. Ditching the acoustics, and adopting a more synth heavy, distorted approach to their music they are Inspired heavily by Krautrock, CAN, The Birthday Party, The Drones, and more current bands such as Crack Cloud or Exek.
