This two-day, interactive workshop offers a strong foundation in the DIR Floortime® framework, with a focus on relationship, play, regulation, and connection. It is ideal for OTs, speech pathologists, psychologists, educators, and parents seeking a neurodiversity-affirming approach. Led by Louisa Hunter a passionate OT of 20 + years and registered DIRFloortime® training leader through the Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning (ICDL),
Throughout the course, participants will explore:
The developmental capacities in children and how to foster their growth
Individual differences, including sensory processing profiles
The relationship-based principles that underpin the DIR-Floortime® model
Practical strategies for using Floortime techniques in everyday interactions
This ICDL-registered course provides a comprehensive overview of DIR-Floortime®, giving participants the knowledge and confidence to begin applying its core principles immediately.
