September is Biodiversity Month! To celebrate, Charles Sturt will be holding a direct seeding day on the Albury Campus. The event is a part of the Albury Wodonga Campus Environment Working Group National Wattle Day Planting, and is to be held on National Wattle Day each year.

Participants will plant a range of native species in the David Mitchell Wetlands area - follow the pink flagging tape to the Northern edge of Wetland 2.

A light lunch will be provided by Vinbar at the planting site @ 12:00pm. The event will also involve guest speaker from Local Land Services, Natasha Lappin - Murray Native Seed Services - discussing the role of direct seeding and the LLS MNSS at 12:15am.

The event is open to students and staff. Be sure to bring a hat, water bottle and gloves.
