YWCA Australia and the Y Connect Program Invites you to celebrate International Day of People with Disability, Disability Action Week, and the Y Connect Program’s second birthday.

Y Connect’s birthday ties in with International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) and Disability Action Week. IDPwD is a United Nations day observed internationally. It aims to promote community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability. IDPwD is an opportunity to be part of creating an inclusive and diverse community for the 4.4 million Australians with disability. Disability Action Week 2023 theme, Access ignites: it's good business, highlights the benefits and opportunities available to employers willing to embrace workforce diversity.

Join us for a night of socialising, networking and celebrations. There will be a performance by Sarah Styles from Wheelie Good Productions. Sarah will be performing songs from her new album. There will also be a lucky door prize.

Light refreshments will be provided. There will be a cash bar for additional drinks to be purchased.

All participants, allies, advocates and supports are welcome to attend.
