The Shire is hosting a Disability and Inclusion in Community Sport Workshop.
Are you involved in a local sporting club? Would you like to learn the skills necessary to work or volunteer in a club that wants to provide an inclusive environment for its participants?
Presented by Michelle Wong from Bust-a-Burpee, this workshop is designed to develop the skills of coaches, officials, and committee members to better their practices when working with individuals with a disability and be as inclusive as possible.
- The program is designed to give you ideas into how to create an inclusive physical activity program for all.
- It will compliment your sport whilst engaging a wider membership base.
Registrations are essential.
Arrive at 5.45pm for a 6pm start.
Workshops will finish at 8pm
