Dominic Golding

Policy and Project Officer | National Ethnic Disability Alliance

Dominic is a person with lived experience of dual disability, being hearing impaired and living with cerebral palsy. In the past 17 years, he has had extensive work experience within the disability space, providing support and accommodation to refugees with disability.

He has also worked with small NGOs, undertaking state election multicultural outreach and providing local council community support. He has worked in two separate DHHS (Department of Health and Human Services) programs - adoption/wardship records and disability, subsequently developing a passion for social policy and service delivery to marginalised communities.

He has assisted in several national consultations and is currently working on community outreach regarding the Disability Royal Commission.

Dr Neta Fleiderman

Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor | BlueKnot Foundation

Neta is a clinical psychologist and supervisor. She has been working in the complex trauma space in public, private and not-for-profit organisations for over 15 years. Neta is passionate about this work and the life-changing benefits she sees for clients she supports.

Neta is currently the Manager of the National Counselling and Referral Service delivered by Blue Knot Foundation supporting people with disability and experiences of violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation. She is grateful to lead the Blue Knot team to provide emotional support for people living with disability to work through what happened to them and find pathways to healing and further support, including engaging with the Disability Royal Commission.

Sifa Mtango

Senior Solicitor | Your Story Disability Legal Support

Sifa moved to Australia in 2003 to study Law and was soon proud to call it home. Her career has broadly focused on dispute resolution, initially working in private firms.

In 2015 she started her first role in the public service, as a senior lawyer in the Office of Solicitor Assisting in the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. She has worked in the public sector ever since, including at the Disability Royal Commission before she joined Legal Aid NSW and Your Story Disability Legal Support.

She is passionate about access to justice for disadvantaged people in society. In her free time, she volunteers in her community, including working with young African-Australian women to ensure that their lived experiences are recognised and represented in key national conversations.

Peter Murphy

Assistant Director, Community Engagement | Disability Royal Commission

Peter Murphy is the Assistant Director of Community Engagement for the Disability Royal Commission (DRC) into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability. His role is to help members of the community connect with the disability royal commission and share their lived experiences. In line with DRC’s terms of reference, his team has been tasked to help people from culturally and linguistically diverse community share their experiences.

Siobhan Clair

Policy Officer | Disability Advocacy Network Australia (DANA)

Siobhan is DANA's Disability Royal Commission Policy Officer. She is responsible for liaising between advocacy organisations, the DRC and other relevant bodies; working to support advocacy and community engagement activities around Australia; and contributing to coordination and communications strategies that improve the effectiveness of the DRC advocacy effort.

Since 2013, she has worked in policy and project roles in disability rights and representation, including at DANA from 2013 to 2015, and at Advocacy for Inclusion, People with Disabilities ACT and the ACT Government’s Office for Disability.
