    Livingstone Shire Council is offering free training opportunities to enhance community resilience & capacity and to assist in regeneration in the recovery from the Cobraball bushfire.

    Chainsaw (Level 1 - FWPCOT2273 Trim and cut felled trees and AHCMOM213 operate and maintain chainsaw)

    • Thursday 22 February - Raspberry Creek Homestead followed by chainsaw practical test at the same venue from 7.00am - 3pm
    • Monday 4 March - Capricorn Tavern followed by chainsaw practical test at Discovery Park 760 Scenic Hwy Kinka Beach from 7.00am - 3pm
    • Monday 11 March - Cawarral Cricket Ground followed by chainsaw practical test at the same venue from 7.00am - 3pm
    • Thursday 21 March - The Caves Hall followed by chainsaw practical test at the same venue from 7.00am - 3pm

    Chemical User Course (AHCCHM307 Prepare and Apply Chemicals and ACHCHM0304 Transport and Store Chemicals)

    • Friday 23 February - Raspberry Creek Homestead followed by chemical practical test at the same venue from 7.00am - 3pm
    • Tuesday 5 March - Capricorn Tavern followed by chemical practical test at Discovery Park 760 Scenic Hwy Kinka Beach from 7.00am - 3pm
    • Tuesday 12 March - Cawarral Cricket Ground followed by chemical practical test at the same venue from 7.00am - 3pm
    • Friday 22 March - The Caves Hall followed by chemical practical test at the same venue from 7.00am - 3pm

    Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.

    All attendees are encouraged to wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, closed footwear, a hat, sunscreen and a helmet if owned. Please ensure to bring two different forms of valid photo identification.
