The Disco Soup Revolution in Folkestone continues! We are back again for the 2nd edition of our community food event on

Saturday 24 June 2023

11am – 3pm (FREE Community Feast begins at 1pm)

at St John's Church Hall,  St Johns Church Rd, Folkestone CT19 5BQ

Be a #foodwastehero – Come and chop, bop and eat to the disco beat, at the same time helping us in our mission to transform surplus food into a community feast!

Dance, cook, eat – what more do you need? How about the satisfaction of knowing that you are doing your bit to reducing food waste as well..

Activities on the day will include Sauerkraut making, herbal tea making, Smoothie Bike, a foraging walk to Radnor Park to see what wild ingredients we find (*departing at 12pm) and more…
*please bring your own air tight containers to take Sauerkraut and herbal teas home with you.

We will also have two local children selling their very own home-made Elderflower Cordial- Please bring CASH with you to support their little business!

This is a family friendly event. Children of all ages are very welcome! 

We will have popular local DJ's Dalawax and 2la spinning the tunes and bringing the party vibes to the proceedings!

If you would like to be a DISCO CHOPPER on the day and help us with our communal food prep, please register by selecting that specific type and join us at 11:00am!
