Disconnect to reconnect experience
Join us on the disconnect to reconnect experience to learn the principles that we have both (mental health experience & TravelFit) have embodied into our business's and personal life to develop a way of life that has influenced a positive impactful change to live a purposeful life.
Through each activity hosted on the day, you will learn the skills and practices that we use on a consistent basis to look after our body, mind, and soul.
The activities on the day include:
- Breathe and connect:
Learn how to master your breath to master your life. Control your breath, control your mind, control your state. Breathing influences a positive change on your nervous system, your emotional state, and your own personal health to improve your immune system strengths.
Connect: Connection creates the opportunity to find your tribe so that you can change and improve your environment and be around like minded people.
- Meditation:
Meditation is powerful in terms of being able to not be emotionally connected to our thoughts, instead, meditation puts us in a state of observation and allows us to proactively control our life without being over-reactive to stressful situations in life.
- Workout:
We have created a specific workout to challenge you mentally and physically to level up your peak state so that when challenges arise in life you have the capability to overcome them from the resilience you gain from working out daily to face the daily challenges in life with ease.
- Ice Bath:
We jump into the ice to challenge our nervous system regulation through breathing correctly to ease the mind and adapt to stressful situations by building up a stress tolerance by controlled stressful environments (like the ice bath), this allows us to not only build mental strength but also work on reducing inflammation in the body for recovery, turns white fat into brown fat to use as energy and not be stored in the body. The ice bath builds discipline to face challenges and gives you the reward of overcoming a fear and following through with the decisions you make in life.
- Good Deed:
Experience to the power of doing good, with our good deed activity which allows you to be selfless and create more connection in a disconnected world by breaking the barrier of communication that people struggle with today by taking the first action to making a change in society today, this also allows us to disconnect from technology to reconnect with humans face to face.
- Food:
On the day food will be provided to keep you energized and alive to tackle all the activities in the experience.
Directions:
The day starts at Moffat Beach in Caloundra, right next to the BBQ's at Moffat Beach. The morning of the event make sure you watch the @mental_health_experience & @Travilfitglobal instagram stories in case you get lost or any information.
What to bring?
- Water bottle, Towel, comfortable clothing, exercise clothing, and a journal (if preferred)
