Get your creative juices flowing!
Have a go at a range of creative techniques. This regular weekly session is for people who want to try new things or those who want to extend their creativity with new ideas and motivations. Each week there will be a prompt to create something exciting in (or outside of) your sketch book. Join other like-minded creatives, learn artistic skills, increase connection with others and improve your sense well-being.
Exercises can include:
– charcoal drawing
– still life
– collage
– watercolours
– clay
And a focus may be on a particular artist.
If you choose you may work on your own personal projects (whatever you like!) in this relaxed, friendly and creative environment.
Beginners welcome and supported in this comfortable and inspiring space. Participants will have the freedom and flexibility to work at their own pace.
9.30am – 12.30pm Wednesdays (Not open during school holidays)
Tea, biscuits, easels, drawing boards and charcoals are available. Scarborough Social Coffee House downstairs has lots of delicious edibles and of course good coffee!
BYO 1x sketchbook, your own creativity, and a sense of curiosity!
