Napier Port Behind The Gates Tours

Event description

Discover Napier Port: A Behind The Gates Bus Tour Experience

It’s been five years since many of you in the Hawke’s Bay community became direct shareholders in Napier Port. We invite you to join us for an exclusive Behind The Gates look at Napier Port.

Since our public listing on the New Zealand Exchange (NZX) on August 20, 2019 under the ticker symbol ‘NPH’, Napier Port has played a pivotal role in supporting regional growth, recovering from economic impacts, and fostering global trade.

This month, Napier Port is offering a limited series of public bus tours. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore the inner workings of one of New Zealand’s busiest ports. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

What:
Napier Port are pleased to partner with local tour operator Hawke's Bay Express (pictured below) to offer an exclusive tour of the port. Your tour guide will be a port employee offering insights about the day-to-day operations of the port and its people. The tour will last approximately one hour (return trip to pick-up/drop-off location).

Tickets are $5 per person, with all proceeds donated to registered charity Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawke's Bay – a youth mentoring programme dedicated to matching young people with supportive adult role models.

When:
We have a number of tour option times available on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 August 2024, subject to demand. If demand is more than tour places available, there will be a waiting list and we will try our best to schedule more tours.

Where:
Pick-up and drop-off for the port bus tour will take place at the Hawke's Bay Sports Fishing Club (Nelson Quay, Ahuriri). Toilet facilities are available at this venue, with plenty of public car parking in the area.
