Bilingual Guided Walk (English/Hindi)

Come and enjoy a guided nature walk with Auckland Council and Ōtara Waterways and Lake Trust. This is a fun activity for families and anyone who enjoys being outdoors. The walk will be delivered in both English and Hindi.

We will walk together along the waterway reserves, learn about local plants and animals, and discover how we can help care for our environment. Along the way, we will look for eels in the stream, spot pest plants, and learn simple ways to protect nature.

Our walk starts at Donegal Glen Reserve and follows the stream to Murphys Bush, one of Auckland's most beautiful native forests. Here we will take in the sights and sounds of the bush before returning to the start.

This walk is a great chance to spend time in nature, meet new people, and explore some of the natural treasures in our community.

✅ Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle and rain jacket if needed

Route: Under 2km from Donegal Glen Reserve to Murphys Bush and return.
