Event description

Getting to know local pollinator insects (and other invertebrates)

This session will highlight the diversity of local invertebrates, particularly pollinator insects, and what we can do to support them.

Insects are often overlooked or assumed to be pests, yet they play a host of crucial roles in our landscapes, on farms and in our gardens.

We’ll also look at simple identification techniques, resources to learn more, and tips for using apps like iNaturalist to record and share your observations.

This event is run by Pukawidgee Land management Ltd as part of a "ecological monitoring on farms" workshop series supported by the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority.  In partnership with GeckoCLAN.
