IT COULD BE YOU!
Whether you are a total beginner or just curious about how the digital world really works, this is your chance to find out. Spend a day at Westpac Sydney, get hands-on with real cyber security challenges, and hear from the people actually doing this for a living.

AWSN, in partnership with Westpac, is proud to present a unique out-of-school-time experience day as part of our high school program that aims to provide a distinctive and immersive environment for high school girls in Sydney (Years 7- 8).
Overview
This experience day is designed to immerse high school girls in the world of cybersecurity through a mix of interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and career insights.
Focus on foundational cybersecurity concepts through engaging and interactive workshops.
The day will also feature talks from cybersecurity professionals, offering students insights into potential career paths and helping them make informed decisions about their futures in this dynamic field.

Who Can Participate?
High school girls in Years 7 and 8 who identify as female and live within Australia.
No prerequisites, just passion to learn! 💜
Event Details
Date: Tuesday, 29 September 2026
Time: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (AEST)
Location: Westpac Sydney, Level 21, 275 Kent Street, Sydney – students to meet in concierge area.
*Please note that this is face to face event.
What to bring?
Students must bring their own laptops with the ability to connect to Wi-Fi.
Students may also bring a mouse and headphones.
Lunch and light refreshments will be provided., If your child prefers to bring their own lunch, they are welcome to do so.

Opens: Thursday, 6 August 2026, at 10:00 am (AEST)
Closes: Thursday, 24 September 2026, at 11:59 pm (AEST) or when fully allocated.
*Only 50 participants can join, so register early! A waitlist will be available once tickets are fully allocated. If you can no longer participate, please let us know as soon as possible.
Registration Fee
$25 + small Humanitix booking fee (50% off our standard $50 ticket price)
All fees are non-refundable. If you're experiencing financial difficulties, please reach out to contacts@awsn.org.au; we would still love you to join us.
*Important Notes*
This event is for high school girls who identify as female and live within Australia.
All volunteers and trainers involved at the event have completed the relevant screening and safety checks required in their state or territory, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants.
Any personal details collected during the registration process will be used exclusively by AWSN for communication and emergency purposes.
Lunch and light refreshments will be provided. If your child prefers to bring their own lunch, they are welcome to do so.
For students' own safety, they will not be permitted to leave the premises of the event venue at any time during the program.
Parents are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the venue.
There is a general no-refund policy for this event. If you are unable to attend, please inform us at contacts@awsn.org.au at least 48 hours before the event starts.
