Discover the World of In-Person 'Experience Design' with Harley
Description
Experience Design is an craft spanning from theatrical to meditative, from whimsical to educational.
Simply put: we're creating an experience of some kind for others!
While XD (eXperience Design) spans into the digital, we're focused on the craft of designing in-person experiences.
What will we cover?
This session will cover some basic tips and tricks to consider how your audience will enter your experience, how it will progress, and how they'll leave the experience.
We'll explore how to consider our audiences' senses, and a few basics to make a memorable experience.
We'll each team up to make an experience for the rest of the group, and get to 'experience' each other's work too.

Who will be teaching?
Harley (he/him) is an artist of many forms, a teacher and an event designer.
I enjoy dabbling in most creative mediums, and I love encouraging others to bring out their creative side. During my life, I've worked as a high school drama teacher, run an improv troupe, made immersive events with the crew Culture Jam and been lucky enough to travel Europe learning various crafts.
These days, I am co-director of Trainscendence, trainscendence.com.au, an arts and events venue in Melbourne. I also co-run Stone Soup, an annual creativity and experience design camp. I love bringing people together for creative collaborations.
