Discovering Sandhills Tour
Description
RGA Landcare invites you to this FREE tour where you will see sandhill conservation areas from Deniliquin to Wanganella.
This tour is a unique opportunity to explore a variety of vegetation types and see;
remnant sandhill vegetation
mature revegetation sites
the wide variety of plant species that can survive on a sandhill
how increasing biodiversity can provide a resilient habitat for a wide range of species

Michael Mullins - TSR Ranger
What to bring:
Sun protection
Suitable footwear
Drink bottle
Long trousers preferable
This tour will involve walking about 1km along a sandy track. Please take this into consideration when registering. Children are welcome under parent supervision.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements when registering your attendance.
We will be meeting in Harrison St opposite the Anglican Church and car pooling to the sites from there, please be on time. If you are wanting to meet on site please let us know.
