Discovering the Art of Making Sourdough Bread.

Join Triskell bakery, Medina's French artisan baker for the opportunity to learn the art of creating your very own sourdough loaf of bread.
In our 3 hr class, you will learn and practice all the steps of sourdough bread making. You will:
- Learn how to start and care for your own sourdough starter.
- Learn and practice mixing, autolyse, gauging gluten development (window pane method), different folding techniques (bowl fold, coil fold, stretch and fold).
- Learn about fermentation and cold retarding
- Pre-Shaping and shaping your loaf of bread.
- scoring and baking your loaf
- Technical discussion about ingredients, mechanics of fermentation.
You will go home with your own loaf of bread, a loaf of dough to proof in your own banneton (for baking the following day), a bread lame and dough scraper and a small jar of my sourdough starter.
