Core Objective

To empower young people in Dubbo to connect with Elders, celebrate Wiradjuri heritage, and become active language keepers—preserving and strengthening the Wiradjuri language for future generations.

Key Activities

• Elder Interviews:
  Participate in the respectful recording of Elders’ stories, songs, and cultural knowledge, contributing to a living archive for the community.

• Community Storytelling Events:
  Gather with family and friends to share food, listen to stories, and experience Wiradjuri culture in a welcoming, festive setting.

• Creating a Legacy:
  Help build a valuable archive of language resources, ensuring the Wiradjuri language remains vibrant and accessible for generations to come.
