"Dish The Dirt" Composting Workshop

Join Dr Ernie Harbott from Compost Culture for a 6-hour composting workshop covering both the theory and practice of producing quality compost.The workshop will explore the fundamentals of composting, including compost biology, carbon and nitrogen ratios, moisture management, aeration, feedstock selection, and common issues that affect compost performance. Participants will also take part in a practical session, building a compost heap and learning how to manage it for effective decomposition.Suitable for landholders, gardeners, producers and anyone interested in improving soil health and making better use of organic waste.
