Breath is a fundamental building block of physical and mental wellbeing. Knowing how to use the breath as an effective tool empowers us to take charge of our overall health. The practices shared will take us on a journey into the subtle realms of our complex human design, whilst supporting the down regulation of the nervous system

:: Sounding and Singing:

The harmonising vibration from sounding and singing soothes the vagus nerve and nervous system in general. The mind becomes clear and focused and the benefits of all of the elements of Breath, Sound & Movement are brought together to bring balance to the body, mind and soul.

:: Shaking Medicine:

An holistic therapy utilising an instinctive mechanism that you can access at any time for self-regulation, healing and maintaining homeostasis. Different from ordinary shaking, as it moves through you it unravels physical, emotional and psychological tension while bringing about a parasympathetic (rest n digest) state of deep relaxation. In this state, biological functions such as metabolism, immune system, blood pressure, heart rate, etc. operate at their optimal state for promoting health and well-being.

Karlyn specialises in guiding folk through transformational processes, drawing upon her training in Breathwork Mastery, Life Coaching, Yoni Mapping Therapy, Tantric Bodywork & Sacred Sexuality, Yoga and Conscious Birth.

Karlyn will be guiding the breathwork element for Dispelled. Her work is trauma-sensitive and the focus is on soothing the nervous system, integration of unresolved past events and empowering people to tap into their own healing capacity. Her passion is in creating a welcoming space to enable people to touch the divine within and know this as their truth.

With almost 20 years experience in the field of complementary health, she holds the space of profound kindness, understanding and integrity.

Zoe is passionate about truth and authenticity and will lead the sound and shaking element of Dispelled. A musician and vocal coach by trade, she now combines her passion for voice with the magic of Shaking Medicine to create a therapeutic healing space for shaking, sounding and singing.

Zoe uses traditional vocal warm ups, breath for singing and exercises with embodiment practises to encourage students to not only open up the energy blockages in their bodies through involuntary shaking, but also to open up blockages in the throat and voice where so many of us are blocked.
