Distorta - Cosmonaut - Sons of Erebus

Distorta is a Ballarat-based heavy metal band renowned for their intense blend of groove and death metal influences. With vocalist, Dmitry Keremetskiy, the band has redefined their sound, pushing their musical boundaries. Deadman is the follow up EP to their debut, "Devil In The Dust" EP. The entire EP was recorded, mixed and mastered by the band, with a progression in sound quality from Devil in the Dust. These first two releases were picked up by Wormholedeath Records, with ‘Deadman about to be unleashed to world in September. They received same amazing reviews for the debut album and were keen to do a second EP as soon as they could. April 2025 has also seen a new stand alone single “MEAN WHAT YOU SAY” released with an official video. The band is keen to keep the momentum going and will have 2 more stand alone singles released in the coming month and a full-length album by the end of the year.

They pride themselves on writing metal songs that are not limited by genre’s, mixing groove, thrash death and power metal into their own unique sound. The thing that is constant in all Distorta tracks is big choruses you can sing or chant along to, whilst pumping your fist in the air!
