Dive Against Debris
We're thrilled to join forces again with Dive Centre Bondi and PADI AWARE for a Dive Against Debris Initiative here in Sydney! This year, we're uniting our Freediving and Scuba communities to clean up one of our local treasures, Camp Cove, which faces ongoing challenges with rubbish and marine debris.
Clean Up Day Details
Camp Cove is one of Sydney’s most popular beaches, not only for divers but for tourists and locals as well. Located on the South Headland it boasts amazing harbour views with a number of stunning rocky reefs to explore.
You can join us above or under the water at 9:30am at Camp Cove for a briefing. The clean up lasts approximately an hour, after which we spend some time sorting through the debris and collecting data for Project AWARE.
To finish the day Dive Centre Bondi have invited us to their Dive Against Debris BBQ at the dive centre as a thank you!
