Get ready for an afternoon of music, lights, fun and ocean-themed excitement! Bring along your friends and siblings and join us for an unforgettable Under the Sea Disco!

There’ll be awesome lights, colourful decorations, music, fun activities and exciting competitions throughout the afternoon. There will also be plenty of stalls to explore, with drinks and snacks to keep you fuelled, as well as glow sticks and other fun accessories to help make your costume shine.

Event Description

The Under the Sea Disco is an event organised and run by the Selwyn Youth Council and is designed primarily for younger children. The event gives children an opportunity to socialise with friends, have fun and take part in a range of activities in a safe and enjoyable environment.

There will be a variety of food and drink stalls available throughout the event, including candy floss, chip bags, juice boxes, water and lolly bags.

There will also be stalls selling items such as lucky dip bags, glow sticks and other decorations that children can use to accessorise their costumes.

Throughout the afternoon, there will be several competitions for children to get involved in, including:

• Best Dressed

• Most Energetic Dancer

• Judges' Choice Award

These will give children the chance to get involved, have fun and show off their costumes and dance moves.

The event will also have a themed photo booth and backdrop, with a range of props and frames for children to use. Glow-in-the-dark face painting will also be available as an extra activity.
