A Divergent Discussion with Zoe Lewis
For many young people, starting university is one of life's biggest transitions. It often means adjusting to new routines, increased independence, unfamiliar social environments, and greater responsibility all at once.
While this can be an exciting time, it can also present additional challenges for neurodivergent students as they navigate executive functioning demands, sensory environments, accommodation, self-advocacy, and balancing academic expectations with wellbeing.
Join us for an exciting Divergent Discussion with Zoe Lewis on navigating the transition from secondary school to university.
Together, we'll discuss:
Preparing for the transition before university begins
Building routines that support learning and wellbeing
Developing independence while recognising individual support needs
Understanding accommodations and self-advocacy
Creating meaningful social connections
Recognising strengths and finding what works for you
Whether you're preparing for university yourself, supporting a young person, or working alongside neurodivergent students, this discussion will offer practical ideas and encouraging insights to help make the transition a positive one.
