Student Exhibition Opening
Join the Disability Innovation Institute UNSW at the Health Translation Hub (HTH) exhibition space for the Opening of Diverse Belonging, a pop-up exhibition of student artwork.
To celebrate we are hosting an Exhibition Opening, enjoy light refreshments and an opportunity to view the winning works.

UNSW Health Translation Hub, ground floor exhibition space
The exhibition features UNSW student competition artworks that celebrate the work of the Disability Innovation Institute UNSW (DIIU). Diverse Belonging encouraged students to reflect on their thoughts and experiences of disability, inclusion, and community, and to imagine futures where diverse belonging is actively created and sustained. The theme celebrates diverse bodies and minds as a source of strength, creativity, and innovation.

Diverse Belongings is presented in partnership with UNSW’s Disability Innovation Institute, Creative Communities and Health Translation Hub.
Winning works from the competition will be on display from 20 March to 7 April 2026.
Diverse Belonging will be shown as a pop-up exhibition in conjunction with the Future of Health Exhibition.
The exhibition is free for everyone, open weekdays 8am – 6pm, no bookings required.
Located on the Ground Floor of the Health Translation Hub the HTH exhibition space is wheelchair accessible.

- Can anyone attend?
Yes! This event is open to all members of the public, you can pop in and view the artworks at your own pace. QR codes will have information about each artwork.
- Are the artworks for sale?
No, the art is not for sale. They form part of the UNSW collection for display only.
On the day, we will have postcards and stickers with the artwork designs that you can take home.
