Who Is Katherine Hudson?

Katherine Hudson is committed to the cause of social justice and passionate about increasing the diversity of voices in business, the arts and Australian society, and how to most effectively achieve social inclusion.

In 2010 Katherine co-founded Wear it Purple to help combat the rates of suicide and depression amongst LGBTIQ youth. This organisation grew from an inner-city Sydney-based movement to nationally recognised annual event. Katherine has been awarded the Aids Council of NSW Honor Award for Young Achiever, The Department of Defence Long Tan Youth Leadership award and the NSW Young Labor David Burnett Memorial award for her advocacy and work co-founding the Wear it Purple organisation.
