Diversity Strategies

In this workshop we will look at what diversity is, identify and reflect on our own social and cultural perspectives, including ways to improve own self and social awareness.

We will also look at appreciating diversity and inclusiveness, its benefits and how we can value and respect diversity and inclusiveness across all areas of work.

Using work practices to contribute to the development of workplace and professional relationships based on appreciation of diversity and inclusiveness and make environments safe for all.

We will explore ways to promote understanding across diverse groups, identify issues that may cause communication misunderstandings or other difficulties and where difficulties or misunderstandings occur, consider the impact of social and cultural diversity to sensitively resolve differences.

Please note: registration is open to aged care providers who deliver CHSP services. If your organisation does not provide a CHSP service your registration will be reviewed.
